 Plant Overview
|
 Glow Phase 2 Central Utilities Cogeneration Plant was developed by Glow Energy Public Co., Ltd. This plant, which became fully operation in October 1996, employed a combined cycle cogeneration process for the purpose of utilizing natural gas (or diesel). This plant supplies electricity through a dedicated underground cable connection to industrial customers. Steam and water distribution systems directly supply with both high and medium pressure steams. Besides the industrial customers, the plant also supplies 180 MW of electricity to EGAT under Small Power Producer (SPP) program.
In addition, this plant also connects its electricity transmission system to Glow Phase 3&4 Hybrid Cogeneration Plant to strengthen overall transmission system reliability. |
