Education and Cultural

Glow Group has a strong determination to create educational opportunities for children and youth. To this end, we have developed a project called, “Glow Family.” The purpose of the project is to academically promote and develop the potential of children and youth in Rayong province. This is the beginning of a learning process for us in the social, intellectual and moral development of youth, which will eventually lead to successful sustainable development of the country.

Glow Family project has gained much attention from students and many of its past activities were well received. Glow has also developed a Glow Family’s website  www.glowfamily.in.th  to communicate with youth in the project. This website will serve as a communication channel between Glow and youth in the project and will provide information about Glow’s social responsibility activities to those who may be interested in joining them.

Continuing projects undertaken by Glow include:
- Rayong youth’s tutorial program for university admission
- English camp
- Continuing scholarships for needy students of good academic performance from elementary to university level.

Apart from educational support, Glow Group also has a program called “Mobile Power Plant” to disseminate information about business operation of the company to government agencies, academic institutes (such as schools, colleges, etc.) and local communities. The company also held a public participation in which people in the communities are free to express their opinions about construction of its new power plant. After which, we have sent a team to visit communities and report progress of the construction project consistently.
