Environmental Management and Public Welfares
“Prudent and efficient environmental management is part of our mission”
Environmental responsibility is an important policy that Glow Group adheres to in its business conduct. Glow Group has environmental concern for the communities and strictly complies with the government regulations. We, therefore, use a state-of-the-art technology and an efficient production process to control the emission level so there will be no environmental impact on the communities.
“Behind the success of Glow Group are communities. “
We always realize that the power plant is part of the community, and communities are like our families. That’s why we focus on social responsibility issues and regard it as part of our business. For 15 years, Glow Group has continuously supported and arranged many social activities, which resulted in improved standard of living of people in the communities. Moreover, we have launched many sustainable development projects to improve their quality of life, including mobile clinics and sponsorship of various sports events for youth and local communities.
In addition to development projects at the local level, Glow Group also constantly supports rural development projects under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. These projects focus on educational support for hill-tribe students and micro-hydropower projects, which aim to improve the quality of life of hill-tribe people in some remote areas, especially in northern Thailand, where there is no electricity.
