13 December 2018, Bangkok/Saraburi – Michelin Siam Co., Ltd. is organizing a ceremony at the occasion of Glow Energy Solar Rooftop commissioning.
The project will significantly contribute to Michelin’s ambitions to become a “Cleaner and More Efficient Plant". The PV System will help reduce CO2 emissions (up to 697,355 kg/year) and generate electricity savings.
Glow Energy Plc (Glow) and Michelin Siam Co., Ltd. (Michelin) have signed a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA) under which Glow will supply to Michelin electricity generated from the PV solar system installed on the roof of the parking area at Michelin’s factory in the WHA Saraburi Industrial Estate in Nong Khae, Saraburi province. The rooftop solar system has an installed capacity of 867.24 kW which will comprise of more than 2,600 polycrystalline silicon panels. The project has completed construction and achieved COD on the 24th November 2018.
