Singapore - 28th October 2014: Glow Energy PLC. (GLOW) today was awarded Platinum at the Edison Electric Institute's (EEI's) Asian Utility Award-2014. The award - received for the category Small-Capitalization, - was presented at the Asian Energy Financial and Investment Conference in Singapore.
The EEI Asian Utility Award recognizes companies which achieve the highest level of total shareholder return. The 2014 awards are given to Asian utility companies that produced the highest three-year returns through 30 June 2014. There are three levels: Platinum, Gold and Silver performance. The award reflects superior and sustained financial performance as determined by rigorous financial indicators. Previous winners of the International Utility Award include GDF SUEZ, National Grid, Scottish & Southern and Fortum.
The Edison Electric Institute (EEI) is the association that represents all U.S. investor-owned electric companies.
