Glow handed over “Solar for Schools project” in Ta Song Yang District, Tak
Mr. Brendan Wauters, CEO, and management of Glow Group have handed over “Solar for Schools” project at Baan Mae Kho School, a remote and off-grid school in Ta Song Yang District, Tak province. As part of this project, a total of 46 solar electric systems were installed at 31 off-grid schools and childcare centers along the Thailand-Myanmar border in Tak Province. This project was made possible with the financial support of Glow and its parent company, ENGIE.
Glow, in collaboration with Microsoft (Thailand), also provided a Microsoft MultiPoints classroom for teachers and students at the school to develop the classroom environment and active participation of the students. This is the first time that the students have learned how to use mouses thanks to the power of energy and technology given by Glow and its partner.
