SCG Chemicals signed a long-term agreement with Glow Group to extend the existing power supply agreements in Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate for another 15 years

On May 18, 2011, four affiliates of SCG Chemicals namely Rayong Olefins Co., Ltd., Thai Polyethylene Co., Ltd., Thai Polypropylene Co., Ltd. and Thai MMA Co., Ltd. signed agreements with Glow SPP3 Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Glow Energy, to extend the existing power supply agreements for another 15 years with total contracted capacity of 48 MW. Currently, SCG Chemicals through its affiliated companies has total contracted capacity with Glow Group for 190 MW of electricity and 198 Ton per hour of steam.
