On 19 September 2019, Glow Energy Public Company Limited, has been awarded Carbon Footprint for Organization (CFO) project and Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction (T-VER) program under the theme “100 Hearts, Cooperation on Global Warming Reduction of 2019”. The awarding ceremony, organized by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO and presided over by Mr.Thaneadpon Thanaboonyawat, Secretary to the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, was held at Mayfair Grand Ballroom, The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam.
Glow Energy PCL was verified by TGO for its greenhouse gas emission (Scope 1&2). This has increased transparency and credibility of our disclosed information and underlined our commitment to environmental conservation.
Glow Energy also joined T-VER program by improving the Boiler Feed Water System with Variable Speed Drive (VSD) Control. This project has reduced GHG by 2,965 tCo2e/year.
